Alexandra Arguello
Once upon a time, 26 year old Alexandra was proud of her fit dancer’s body and dressed to show it off. After suffering the painful loss of a loved family member, she began stress eating until it spiraled out of her control. After that she was saddened to see her fit and toned body disappear making it more and more difficult for her to continue to follow her passion of dance.
Blanca Varela
To this 47 years young mother of 5, family means everything. Raised in Puerto Rico on a beautiful tropical island sounds like the stuff of dreams, but even so Blanca admits to a life of suffering from anxiety and depression, something many people can relate to. With the help and support system of her local family which includes her brother, sister, mother; who she refers to as “her angel” and her husband of 10 years, Blanca has worked hard to arrive at a place of acceptance and embrace the life she has been given.
Jill Tracey Folmar
Jill Tracey has been a media and radio personality for almost two decades. A star on South Florida radio, Jill moved west as a part of the final season of NBC’s only daytime reality show, Starting Over but now she’s back on the east coast returning to the airwaves with the syndicated radio program, The Jill Tracey Show.
Brenda Selner
Brenda remembers the days in South Florida where winter wasn’t quite as warm as it is today. Her family relocated from North Carolina in her childhood, a childhood she describes as quite idyllic with beautiful weather and minimal high rises and construction. As much as she loved her hometown Brenda became a Stewardess (pre-political correctness, it was the 60′s) right after high school to see the world.
